About Us

APF Simply means 'A PASSION FOR', where children get to pursue their passions and interests. Our goal at APF is to provide a high-quality childcare service that are fun and educational. Our team of knowledgeable and compassionate employees provides a secure and supportive atmosphere for children to develop and learn. We provide a range of activities that encourage social, emotional, and physical growth while having a blast.

Our mission is to make memories that last a lifetime for both children and their families. We understand that every child is unique, and we strive to create individualised experiences for each and every camper.

We offer a wide range of activity camps to choose from, including Sports, Arts, Multi-Activity and Extreme.

To support our pursuit for execellence, we provide an optional extended-hour programme (8:00 am–6:00 pm).. All children, including those from underprivileged families and those with Special Educational Needs or Disabilities (SEND), are included in our inclusive approach. We create opportunities to have fun, learn, and develop friendships, skills, and confidence.

How do we do it?

In order to provide the greatest holiday camps, we bring together expert and compassionate staff teams, first-rate facilities, and effective practises. Children always have a choice in our creative courses and activities to keep them occupied and safe. Our approach is characterised by passion, expertise, and good humour. Our goal is to provide each child with an unforgettable experience that will make them eager to return.

A Typical Day At Camp

  • With our Extreme Activities, children can go beyond what they've learned to develop new abilities, knowledge, and overall well-being. Some of the activities include our electric go-karts, sumo wrestling, splatball (a modified version of paintball), archery-tag, and our enormous bouncy castle. Resilience, critical thinking, listening, imagery, and concentration are all supported by the design of these activities.

  • Our sports programmes, both conventional and unconventional, help participants develop their skills and resilience. These consist of tag rugby, dodgeball, badminton, and more!

  • Our physical activity classes, which include circuit training and exercising to music, give children a greater understanding of maintaining their physical health. These customised curricula provide more chances for collaboration, which fosters friendships and makes children feel included.

  • Our instructors and coaches naturally incorporate a "therapeutic" approach to fostering and enhancing mental well-being into our arts and crafts activities, which include resistant materials projects, clay modelling, painting, and sketching.

All-inclusive Method

Our main goal is to guarantee that EVERY child, regardless of origin, disability, or unique circumstances, has access to these experiences and that no child is left behind.

We work hard to provide for children from low-income households and those who are looked after, believing that they shouldn't face any disadvantages while attending camp.

Our goal is to offer a comprehensive service that will boost academic accomplishment overall, aspirations, and self-esteem. We will try our best to accommodate specific needs, and for families who are having trouble paying for the camp activities, we may be able to offer a discounted fees.

Philosophy of Coaching

Our motivated staff share the goal of igniting a passion for their chosen fields in the upcoming generation.

Our goal is to foster ambition and bring out the best in them, both personally and academically. We think it's important to encourage children and promote self-expression, creativity, and teamwork.

At APF, coaching is provided through state-of-the-art facilities and engaging approaches that make it anything but traditional. With a varied schedule that includes inquiry-based learning workshops and observation, campers never spend the same two days and always experience fun learning!

Our Team

We truly have the best staff to look after, encourage, and assist your child. Serving as 'loco parentis' representatives of our head office, camp managers are assisted by a passionate group of coaches, activity instructors, and early childhood educators who work together to foster a special sense of teamwork.

We follow the same safety and care guidelines that any parent would. We guarantee low staff-to-child ratios in compliance with the 2004 Children Act.

A Barham

''My daughter absolutely loved going to APF activity camp, she really enjoyed the activities and was excited to go back day after day. I would 100% recommend and would definitely book her in again''

My son, O.N attended the SEN Camp at Booker Park School from the 02/04/24 -05/04/24 inclusive.

I wanted to say another big thank you to the team who facilitated the SEN HAF Camp at Booker Park School, Aylesbury, over the Easter holidays- O.N was really happy he was able to attend, as he has been asking for a few years (as his brothers went to camp but he did not). It made a very positive difference for me too, which I am very grateful for.
