Safe & Happy Children

We take every step to ensure that we strike a balance between enjoying freedom and fun on our holidays, whilst staying safe and happy, is the right one.

There may occasionally be instances where we aren't able to provide your child/ren with the additional support they require. If this is the case we will contact you and provide a full refund. Prior to your child/ren arriving at our APF centres we also ask that you have read and understood our main policies and feel that your child is able to adhere to them. Please see below for an outline of key points that may be relevant to your booking.

Emergency Protocols

IF A CHILD IS THOUGHT TO BE AT RISK OF HARM (OR LIKELY TO BE)

• A referral will be made immediately to Children’s Social Care or the police if we feel a criminal act has occurred or      there is imminent danger to a child/other.

• The Designated Safeguarding Lead (Kaz James) would usually do this but any member of staff can make contact.    It is important not to delay. Parental consent is not required to make referrals to statutory agencies where harm is      alleged.

Please note that we do all we can to build excellent relationships with parents as we feel this is essntial for esblising the best safguarding culture. However, we do not usually inform the parents/carers/alleged perpetrator of the harm unless told to do so by Child Protective Services. To do this too early could heighten the risk of further harm to the child.

A record will be made of the decision that was reached and the reason, what action was taken by whom including dates and times.

Do you have a concern about your child or another child?
